On August 29-30, 2023, Rusmet Rating Agency in partnership with the National Recycling Association RUSLOM.COM will hold the Forum “Circular economy: Regulation, Digitalisation, and Investment” and the Conference “Digitalisation of the Scrap Market. Transition to Cashless Payments to Individuals for Scrap”. The most relevant representatives of Russian executive and legislative authorities, business community, and experts will gather at the Monarch Hotel, 31A/s.1, Leningradsky Prospekt, Moscow.
The event programme includes panel discussions with representatives of the Government of Moscow, industry and business associations such as Delovaya Rossiya (Business of Russia), the National Recycling Association RUSLOM.COM, the Aluminium Association, the Russian Steel Association, and the intersectoral association Green Moscow.
The event includes presentations by experts from the Central Bank, Rosfinmonitoring, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Digital Development, the Ministry of Finance, and the Assay Chamber. They will speak about digital systems and tools that facilitate the control, licensing, and accounting of ferrous, non-ferrous, and precious metal scrap.
The Forum and Conference will provide an opportunity to discuss and analyse key industry issues, including the transition to cashless payments to individuals for scrap, the impact of digitalisation on the scrap market, environmental and regulatory aspects of waste management. Participants will be able to attend plenary sessions, round tables, presentations, and workshops.
