On 10 September 2023, the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF-2023) – one of the most important public events in the Asia-Pacific region – began its work in Vladivostok. The Forum has been held annually since 2015 and has become a traditional platform for discussing general economic and investment issues, as well as strengthening cooperation between Russia and APR countries.
The Eastern Economic Forum attracts participants from all over the world, including politicians, businessmen, experts, and media representatives. The main goal of the Forum is to create a favourable platform for dialogue and exchange of ideas, as well as to attract investments in various sectors of the Russian economy.
The EEF-2023 features a range of events, including plenary sessions, round tables, business meetings and exhibitions, as well as regional presentations. The main topics of discussion this year include infrastructure development, digital economy, energy, tourism, and cooperation in science and education.
The Association RUSLOM COM will take part in the Forum’s events and business meetings.
An important advantage of the Eastern Economic Forum is its geographical location, which reflects Russia’s opportunities in Asia. Vladivostok is one of the trade and economic centres of the Asia-Pacific region. This makes the city an attractive place to discuss cooperation between Russia and APR countries.
The Forum also helps to draw attention to the potential of the Russian Far East and to increase its role in the development of the entire APR region – and more generally to strengthen Russia’s position in the international arena.
